The graphic design, layout, and typesetting of our clients’ translated documents will take into account the target audience and combine our translators’ knowledge of cultural nuances with the latest software to ensure that images, colors, and branding will be appropriate for your target audience.

Quality control (QC)

QC checks are performed on all graphic design and editing projects prior to the start of the project:

• Fonts: Check font usage and ensure all files use the same versions of fonts.
• Images: Check that all linked art is provided.
• PDFs: Check to make sure all files generate as PDFs without errors.
• Table of Contents: Verify that the table of contents and Index have been updated correctly.

Formatting

Some languages can be difficult to format if they expand or contract in length from the source file. This requires our skilled graphic designers to make precise adjustments without altering the original design:

• Merge translation with the source file format using automated text extraction software.
• Ensure that the translated file(s) maintain the integrity of the original file(s), which may involve adjusting text and graphics to accommodate a language greater or shorter in length than the source.
