Providing Timely & Accurate Language Translation ServicesEmpire Translation Services (ETS) was founded by industry experts with over 20 years of linguistic experience who wanted to help companies communicate effectively and accurately through language translation services. Our approach is simple: keep costs low, never sacrifice on quality, and be responsive. We believe in a remote workforce of independent contractors that allows ETS to save on rent, payroll, utilities, and many other expenses that a typical business incurs. These savings allow us to provide our clients with the most competitive pricing.
ETS utilizes an ISO 17100 compliant translation workflow to ensure the highest quality translations. ISO 17100 is a requirement that demonstrates Translation Service Providers (TSPs) have the processes, resources, and other means necessary to provide quality translation services that meet the client’s specifications.
ETS is a proud member (#277945) of the American Translators Association (ATA). ATA is the largest professional association of translators and interpreters in the US. The mission of the ATA is to promote the recognition of professional translators, to facilitate communication among its members, to establish standards of competence and ethics, to provide its members with professional development opportunities, and to advocate on behalf of the profession.
ETS Translator Vetting Process
ETS has developed its own Translator Vetting Process to test, grade, and select qualified translators to be in our linguistic pool.
Translator Credentials and References
Our translators are the heart of what we do. The translators must be in-country native speakers that have a minimum of 10 years of industry experience and are subject matter experts in the field in which they are translating. We also require three references from each linguist from previous employers and a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, which we verify. If a linguist meets this criteria, they are invited to participate in our testing process.
Linguistic Testing
ETS has created a proprietary linguistic testing process based on the principles of SAEJ 2450 (Quality Metric for Language Translation). Every translator must pass a technical written exam and follow explicit instructions. With a pass rate of only 20%, ETS prides itself on our stringent testing process that allows us to utilize only the best translators.
Continuously Monitored & Assessed
Linguists are reviewed and graded after each assignment for quality and on-time delivery. Each linguist is also assessed on a bi-annual basis by having a sample of their translations reviewed by a third party to check for accuracy, consistency, and quality. This helps to ensure complacency does not set in.
Security and Confidentiality
HTTPS Secure Portal – ETS offers our clients multiple secure platform options to send and receive confidential files.
Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) – ETS executes NDAs with all of our resources, both internal and external, to ensure all of our clients’ information remains confidential. We also recommend executing NDAs with all of our clients.
Google Workspace Security and Trust – ETS utilizes Google Workspace – one of the leading and most secure tools available today.
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Certificate – EmpireTranslationServices.com operates as an SSL certified website which creates a secure environment to all our visitors.
